this is not a bad deal if you do not belong to any of the movie clubs like a-list. you get 1 ticket free which basically wipes out the convenience fee for 1 transaction.

I have a wife and two kids. I'm still on the hook for three tickets even with the a-list membership. This offer works well with programs like that. A-list/stubs wipe out the fees, and i'll get $5 back as a fandango reward code.
