CPU: Intel® Celeron® Processor 3965Y (1.50 GHz, 2 MB L3 Cache)
RAM: 4G LPDDR3
ROM: 64G eMMC
Screen: 12.2" Touchscreen, 1920 x 1200
Accessories: Pen and Bonus Pouch

I am surprised that this is not on the Black Friday ads. Received an email from Costco just now and saw this deal. Actually I have been waiting for a deal of it for months. It is small and with high resolution (Almost all 11.6'' CBs only have 720p resolution).

I have a first generation Samsung Chromebook Plus, and it's terrible. I payed $199 for it brand new and wish I hadn't.

It crashes regularly even after being sent in twice, battery life is mediocre at best and the keyboard is one of the worst I've ever used.

The worst thing for me is the Bluetooth. It's unusable. And this complaint continues into the 2nd generation from what I found. Chromebooks in general don't play well with Bluetooth, but this is by far the worst I've ever seen on one.

And lastly, Samsung customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. Thankfully from Costco you may not have to deal with them.

Overpriced MSRP. Stupid model decisions on Samsung's part. There should be one version, the M3 with 4gb/64gb. And then it should be on sale at this price. For the downgrades they did over the original, the increase in price isn't justifiable. More plastic, heavier, thicker, not as nice a screen (though not horrible in general).

My professor owned the same one, but his works well. And that's why I'm interested in this model

It's in the Holday Savings book that was mailed to all Costco members and also posted on their website. Open the following link and click the section titled "Nov 22 - Dec 2" scroll down and you'll see it there.

First gen Plus had a clunker of a processor. The Pro's were nice. I sold mine before the prices really dropped thankfully and picked up a Pixelbook when they had the big sale last year. I'd get the first Gen Pro if I was buying now.

The celeron definitely isn't bad in the V2, but the M3 is better. MSRP wise there is very little difference. They even did a more gimpy version with only 32gb on board. Not smart with Android coming into its own on these.

Is the HP better then? https://www.costco.com/.product.100511759.html
I returned my Samsung from Costco. In my opinion the HP is much better. Better keyboard, better speakers, aluminum everywhere except the bottom (Samsung is all plastic), faster processor, charging from both sides, bigger track pad, and bigger screen (unless you want a smaller device). The only thing the Samsung had that this one doesn't is a built in stylus. The HP has USI support (new universal style standard). Hoping cheap styluses will be available soon.

-Sent from the HP x360 Chromebook 14b

P.S. The MSRP of the Samsung is crazy overpriced on Costco for what you get. Not bad for $300, but the HP is better for the same price.
