We cannot be paid to post a deal. Sites do send over offers, yes. But it is no different really than getting a promotional email to your personal inbox.
Actually this sat for a good while with no attention.
Some deals are worked out with merchants, yes. Most of what I post though I find organically.
No one can pay to have a deal frontpaged, and no one can pay to have a deal posted. I post what I think are good deals, from stores I like, for items I like (or think others will like).
I researched this before posting. At the time I researched, I could not find a price close to this. And no 3rd parties can promote their deals here, it is forbidden.
I always encourage people to research before buying. It just makes sense. I never assume that someone will see a deal here and buy blindly, nor would I want that. As for my deals, I have no "skin in the game" so to speak. If a deal I post is a success, it makes absolutely no difference to me than if it was a failure. But if it was a success, I might get a slight sense of joy that I helped people.
As for "sucker deals", I take exception to this, as I could not find a price close to what this is being offered for. If you can find a better deal, please post it.
Am I being cynical by thinking this is some sort of paid promo from MW? The coupon code is SLICKMHWDEAL. Coincidence the wording is the same as this site?
This same jacket was 69.95 on 11/06/19 with 50% off $140 code from edealinfo + free shipping. Now it's 200 and 60% off? $10 Slickdeals tax I guess.

I've got their stretch down DS jacket. Nothing but compliments and it's warm, water beads up etc...but I don't see it lasting long. Down is leaking out of the thread holes near a seam at the bottom. I sent it in for warranty and they said it's a "normal amount" coming out.
It snagged on a thorn while hiking and it left a 1/16" hole.
I wouldn't pay what I paid for it again ($300) but I might for this price.
Its normal for goose down jackets to shed down. I have an Eddie Bauer micro therm down jacket and its sheds. I thought I had a bad jacket at first but when I contacted customer support, they said it is normal for goose to shed some.

I ordered a few days ago and received a couple days later (fast shipping). Body fit well but sleeves are really baggy and look awkward to me. Planning to return.

Same here. Fast shipping, body fits great and sleeves seem a bit baggy. Keeping mine because it is a great jacket, just what I needed for winter. Now I need to hit the gym for some curls to fill it out.
Arrived pretty quickly. Seems fine to me. The size is right. Feels better quality than the cheapo 32Degrees I bought from SD. Still pretty thin and def. not intended for real winters. Bought it to go to music concerts/venues during the colder days
Im planning to get on of these jacket but there are so many 'specs' im just lost. Would anyone kind enough to help me find one?
My goal is a warm sub $100 jacket that can make me warm in ~30 weather. By warm i mean I want it where I only wear a T shirt inside and that jacket and I would feel warm enough to walk around the city per se.
