Costco Item number please. Otherwise, the deal is no good to anyone.

I've seen it on the west coast mainly (WA and CA). Costco has this promo every holiday season - along with other hard liquors.

Nice price if available at local store, seems usually around 63-65 and on sale can be 55 or so? here SF area

I personally like Macallan 12 in this price range (cheaper), actually prefer the 12 over 15 value-wise. 18 is the best but cost $$$.

Japanese Whiskeys have had strong runs in the last 6+ years, so much that that some of them discontinued age-statement bottles. Hibiki Harmony is a good one if you can find one (try it with 1 or 2 ice cubes, it opens the Hibiki very nicely.

thanks for the recs. i do have the kirkland 20 and macallan 12. both being a staple in my cabinet. i have yet to try hibiki harmony, i'll try to look for that one.

Lagavulin is my favorite and I'll gladly pay 80 bucks for a bottle but my local Costco had it on sale 63, not 53. Still a great buy at 63
