Pretty good deal. Does anyone know if the Costco Executive 2% and Costco Anywhere Visa 2% cashback would apply?

I don't have a Costco visa, but it showed the 2% expected reward for executive membership at checkout when I purchased this.

From the Delta Terms & Conditions on the product page:
  • "May only be sold by Delta and Delta Gift Cards-licensed vendors; and does not expire or impose any fees."

I do not see why not - not in exclusions

Don't buy entire ticket with GC, put some $ on a credit card that offers some travel protection.

Too many restrictions

• eGifts and Cards may only be redeemed toward the total purchase price of air transportation, including taxes, fees, and surcharges imposed on the air transportation (excluding any cash portion of an Award or Miles + Cash Ticket). They may not be used for any additional fees (including baggage fees) or for any other products or services (including upgrades, in-flight purchases, premium seating, mileage booster, SkyMiles Cruises, cargo, hotel stays, or car rentals).
• Gift Cards cannot be used to pay for any cash portion of an Award or Miles + Cash Ticket.

That may be a dealbreaker for some, but definitely not for me.

I usually spend over $2K on tickets for my family of 4 at least once a year so this would be perfect, right? I see the restrictions, but this shouldn't affect 4 economy tickets purchased directly from Delta...
