YMMV, but when I went to pick up the purchase I was able to choose a different color type cover as well. If you simply go to the Microsoft store to buy it they are offering the different color type covers unlike the online instore purchase options.

Same price as in Costco. I prefer Costco for easier returns and their warranty.

Why you think it will be $799, which is currently price for 128GB, I don't say it's not possible but you aware of such price trends with Surface pro 6 in past?

It won't be. $799 is for the 128gb model.

SP 7 can run programs that Ipad pro can't.
One is just a tablet ( a very great tablet) and one is a full blown computer.

Not for the deal, but you can for the warranty. I got Microsoft complete for 110 plus tax. In store I was able to swap out for a different keyboard color too

You've gotta really want this form factor, as the value proposition just isn't there. iPads are available for much less and have apps. This is a tablet pc. Surface Pro is a really cool device, but it's just too much for what it does.
The screen is too small. I've tried to love it because it is such a cool device, but the Surface Laptop for $50 less seems to be a more functional item. Also, the tablet apps are crap on windows.
