Debating this against Costco deal for Samsung 32" Class 4K UHD Curved Monitor @ $320. Wondering if 4k is more advantageous than 34" widescreen 2k

For general use and gaming 4K is overkill at 32". You need to go beyond 40" before it starts to pay off.

True, it's dpi you should care more about, rather than resolution, on smaller screens. And for gaming the fps is more important than resolution. You would need a serious graphics card to push 4K at 144Hz on modern games, and most people don't have or need that.

I couldn't replicate, so I ordered the other deal from B&H Photo. I trust them more than buydig anyways.

What is the best non gaming monitor if we are talking about dpi and eye strain?

$361.77 after tax.

Hmmmm

I have a X34P and I've been spoiled by 3440x1440. Thinking about snagging this to bring into the office. My 3 x 24" 1080P Dell Business monitors, standard affair, looks dated...and sucks for productivity in comparison. I do have have a 1440p monitor off to the side of my predator uw though.

60Hz refresh is a killer here.
