I just returned from Costco did not see them instore. Infact I searched for buds specially and finally ordered online from Samsclub not finding a deal in Costco.

What's the general consensus on these things - good? bad?
Everything I've researched if you have a SAMSUNG phone they have fantastic sound quality. You might have to switch the bluetooth codec in dev options to the proprietary Scalable Codec. I don't know if it defaults.
As far as iPhones, seems like the recommendation is no. But couldn't entirely gather if some of those are just apple fantatics as there are also Samsung etc.
I couldn't really gather much about a non-Samsung android. I think the huge win is being able to use the Samsung codec. Aside from higher sound quality seems like generic Android uses have good experiences.
Disclaimer: I do not own them yet. I have an S9. While I use my Bose qcII a lot and love them I want an in-ear wireless set. Plan on buying these before end of deal
I have got a pair on Sunday. It works well on my Xiaomi phone. I can only comment on two downsides (1) mic is underwhelming, (2) real-time tv has 200-300 ms audio delay (although Hulu&Netflix are fine).
