Be warned, these are absolutely notorious for having flickering issues. Google "acer nitro flickering." This was several months ago so no idea if the problem is still ongoing, but for those of you wondering why its so cheap, there you go.
Deal aside. I'd recommend buying through Ebay since they have a reasonable dead pixel policy unlike Newegg's official site

G sync is always more expensive than free sync. Probably because of Nvidia. Dell also makes things pricier just because of their name. Similar to Samsung monitors. The dell has 4 extra USB ports on it so that's nice. Other than that, not much else that makes it more expensive.

I pulled the trigger. Probably the lowest price I've seen for a 27" 1440p 144hz IPS monitor. I bought it through eBay though since I've read that Newegg return policy is a nightmare.

Haven't bought anything from newegg, ever since they screwed over customers 2 years ago. Not the same company it use to be. No more easy returns, price match, adjustments, etc.

Purchased this in june and I absolutely love this monitor. Never had the flickering issue people were talking about. Imo it's worth a shot since you can return through ebay.

Sigh. Does seem the nitro is better. I just read like hundreds of reviews complaining about the flickering though on the nitro, so I think I will avoid them both I guess. The search continues.
