Not true. It's not bi-directional.
Since begining of 2019 most Freesync capable monitors can work with Nvidia GPU to provide adaptive-sync.
But NO G-sync Monitor (like this) can "sync' with an AMD GPU.
That's about to change for "future" G-sync" monitors because Nvidia announced 3 days ago that they would let AMD GPU use the future G-sync modules. In theory some recent monitors could be firmware updated. But is unknown if that would be done (or even if it can be updated) for this monitor. As of now if you have an AMD GPU you can't use the G-Sync Functinality of this monitor.
That is objectively incorrect. a 1440p ultrawide will give you far more usable space than a 1080p one. Depending on what tasks, that extra space is worthwhile.

I got this during the last sale. Paid $740. I love this monitor. No tearing, works well with my Nvidia card. Haven't tried it with my AMD card. Highly recommended at this price.
It is front page worthy
Lowest price I have seen for this one, could not resist, grabbed one
I currently have ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q 27" 2560x1440 IPS 165Hz 4ms G-SYNC, which I paid around $600 2 years ago, which is great monitor, but it is time to get larger size.
