good deal, but remember it'll renew at the regular price in a year. I'm on usmobile right now, and their coverage, network speeds (on Verizon) and customer service are stellar. if you don't mind renewing at regular price, I think it's a great deal.

Did they just lower the data priority on starter plans for existing warp customers? If so, i'm super disappointed.

For Warp, if you are on Warp on Aug 18, you're grandfathered in priority data.

Wasn't BOGO last week better deal if you needed 2 lines?

Is there any significant difference in Internet speeds between Premium (priority data) and Starter(high speed data) if I am only going to use limited mobile internet data? Starter plan says high speed data upto 70GB.

I am currently on Xfinity mobile and internet speeds suck at certain places like mall parking lots.

Also, how long can we wait without activating/transferring the line? I am tempted to jump on this deal but my current Xfinity free line plan does not end till mid Sep/Oct.

Priority data depends on the tower and load. Basically in cities in areas where towers might be overloaded, high priority data can make a big difference. It might be that you get like 5 Mbps, or you might not even be able to load a webpage in very crowded conditions. Otherwise, it won't. A good article is this one. From what I've heard, Verizon (US Mobile Warp, Xfinity) because they only have 2 priorities and a lot of customers, being on QCI sucks in cities, while AT&T and T-Mobile are generally not as big of a deal to be on lower priority.

Xfinity is QCI 8 (high priority) on Verizon network already, so being on Warp will have the same experience. But the nice thing about US Mobile is you can go to AT&T or T-Mobile networks (they call them Dark Star and Light Speed respectively), which could have much better results in your area in mall parking lots.

Though because they have all 3 networks there are some differences. On Unlimited Starter, 70 GB cap is for T-Mobile and Verizon, while AT&T is uncapped. And then for Unlimited Premium, T-Mobile doesn't get higher priority data. The details are in the "Varies by network" link on the plan page.

Not sure how long you have to activate, in the past it has been either 30 or 90 days, but you can check/ask reddit.com/r/usmobile or their chat to confirm which

They changed the policy to be any line with US Mobile by the end of Aug 18, not that it helps any new customers

Anybody know how often BOGO lines are offered? Is it a fairly common deal or just like once a year.
Looking to switch carriers but need two lines. Bogo seems better than this deal

Yeah, it sucks, but these are the games every carrier and MVNO seem to play. At least we can still get in on the device deals and it was easy to get grandfathered into high priority Verizon.
