The Schlage connect series for $179 is not bad. You need a Z-Wave hub (e.g. smartthings) and it also works with the ring alarm (alarm hub is a Z-Wave hub).
These don't go on sale very often below this price. It's an expensive purchase, though.
I have one of these (Connect series) on my front door and it has not failed me yet. Very easy to use. I control it from my Ring app and also have it to lock on my "Alexa, I'm going upstairs" routine.
Installation is not hard, but it's YMMV because of each one's setup. It does need a pretty straight shot to close, so if you need to push your door in (AND hold) to lock, you'll have a bad time instaling this.
Overall, great product.
You need to check the HD website more often and not just depend on Slickdeals. Not sure which one you need but the Schlage Camelot Connect is on sale right now for $149. This is the z-wave version.

It legitimately pisses me off that HD will never put the Schlage locks on sale without the hand kit. I don't need or want the hand kit.

Maybe I'm wrong but I've installed the kwikset power bolt on 3 different houses now and I feel like they are always pretty close to the $54 range. I do highly recommend them just change the batteries every 12 months. I'm just not certain this is much of a deal on that model, maybe the others though.

I second this. I have the shlage camelot since we moved to this house and never bring a house key anymore. Life changing.
The installation is a breeze if you have new doors with modern hole pattern. I installed one at my parents house from 1937, I had to patch the holes a little because the hardware from the 70s were bulkier than today's hardware.
Interested in the Schlage Connect but confused what I need exactly. I want this to connect to my Ring system but I also have an Echo Plus. So can this connect to my Echo Plus as a hub and also connect with Ring? Or do I need to buy a separate hub to be able to use it?
Don't buy quickest ... I had a terrible experience with this .. got locked down once because the unit malfunctioned and was not opening the door ..faced this incident within a week after installation ..had to spend 150 for locksmith to break it

Idk, but the $54 one is OOS.
Edit: I take that back, it's OOS for the bronze (which is what I needed).
