These are back in stock and at the sale price of $5.88 again. My local HD had around 300 units. If they're not in the aisle, ask the employee to check the "no home" area.

i got this last time, maybe its my phone (galaxy s10e) but it would charge incredibly slow. i used both a crappy offbrand cable and a anker one and it didnt make a difference. then the usb port started malfunctioning. the outlets work fine though.

so as long as you are not using is strictly as a phone charger or use those ports often, it should be fine i guess.

Yeah, it's 2.4 AMP shared. A good charger will be 2.4 AMP per port.

And when it says shared, it's never quite clear if one usb port can use all 2.4 amps or not, if nothing else is plugged in.

Anyway, I'm staying away.

Got these last time in August, work great for outlets behind couches and beds for people to plug phone chargers into.

Same here. USB is near trickle charge on both my Note 8 and my new Note 10+.

I haven't noticed this problem with mine, but I only ever use it to charge my phone overnight, so the speed doesn't matter. USB port hasn't malfunctioned for me yet (and I got 3 of them last time)

I also only use it at night but just wanted people to know in case they think this will fast (or even medium speed) charge their phone.

One more thought, it's never a good sign when there are only fourteen reviews and one includes a picture of a melted unit.

If I don't care about usb, or even surge protection, is there anything cheaper? Just need something flat so I can plug two cords in and push furniture closer to the wall.

I still see the sale price. Try changing locations to a different store.
