Not bad, not great.. The Dell offer was better, better display IPS @ 1080p. 1366 x 768 Sucks! Hard drive isn't a big deal because you can throw an SSD in the Dell, only really using it as a boot drive anyways.

I would hold out and see if that deal comes back or look for something similar on Cyber Monday.

I'd take the i7 8th gen Dell with FHD 1080p screen over this HP. There's basically no difference in CPU power [cpubenchmark.net]. So you need to take all other specs into account. This HP would probably be a better buy $50 or more lower, even then, not sure if I'd go for the display being lower res.

Here's the users manuals [hp.com] that are on the HP site for this model. However they don't seem to cover this model. From past models it seems yes for memory, 2 slots, but not really seeing where a 2.5 in. SSD could go for extra storage.
