I haven't seen any tutorial or steps to get this MyQ opener to work with Alexa or Google home. Hopefully this will help you out. This tutorial will let you to Open/Close the garage with voice command like this:

"Hey Google, Open/Close the garage"Cool
"Alexa, Open/Close the garage"Cool

instead of " Hey google, ask myQ to close the garage" crap. Ha hashake head

1. Download the app call SimpleCommands on google playstore or Apple store. I am using android.
2. Sign up an Account with SimpleCommands, tap the "+" and link your MyQ account with SimpleCommands.
3. Tap " Clock icon" at the bottom to create Routines. Tap "+" to add a routine, give the routine a Name. "Garage Open" for example.
4. Tap "+" at Execute these actions. Tap on the Garage Door myQ and select Open in this case, leave delay at 0. Tap Add Command.
You are now done with SimpleCommand. Follow the same step and create a trigger for "Close".

For Google Home:
1. Open Home app, tap "+", tap Set up device, choose " Have something already setup", look for "kloee for SC" and link your Simplecommands account.
2. Go back to Home app main interface, tap "Routines" , select " Manage routines", select " Add a routines".
3. Tap Add commands (require), type in how you wish to tell google to Open the garage. Example: "Please open the garage ". YOu can add many commands as you like. Then tap OK
4. Tap Add action, select "Browse popular actions", select "Adjust scenes", tap on the "Settings icon", select "Garage Open" in this example. Then tap OK, then tap "Add"( up right top".
5. Select" Save" and you're done!!

For Alexa:
1. Click here and enable the kloee for SC skill https://www.amazon.com/Wispify-kl...lls&sr=1-1
2. Open Alexa app on your phone. Tap Devices, Select "Scence", Select " Discover Scenes"
3. Once the prosscess is done, the routines " Garage Open/Close" that you created in Simplecommands app should show up.
4. Select "Routines" in the main Menu, tap"+"
5. Tap"+" under " When this happens" and select " Voice" , Enter the command that you want. Example:" Please open the garage". Tap " next"
6. Tap"+" under "Add action" and Select " Smart Home", tap "Control Scene" then select "Garage Open", tap "Add".
5. Select "Save" and you're done!!

It might look complicated but once you done it the first time, it'll take less than 5 min to set it up for a friend or family if they want to use voice command with it.
User Interface might change in the future but the basic concept should be the same. Good luck and enjoy the device!!

Edit: If you concern about random, uninvited strangers shouting around your garage to get it open just Change the command from "Hey Google, Open/Close the Garage" to "
"Hey Google, Open/Close the _whateverNameUWant______"
No more stolen packages, just shady barely over minimum wage Amazon delivery drivers with access to your garage with thousands of dollars worth of stuff in it and potentially your home if you have an attached garage. LMAO LMAO
It actually pretty simple to get it to work with Google home or Alexa.

FYI does not work with Alexa. I read you can do some work around a to get it to work. But I haven't figured it out. Other than that. It's pretty cool. I love knowing that my garage door is closed.

Saw mixed reviews but can't go wrong for $20 when it was $80 at some point. For those with iPhones/apple home kit I found with my research that to have this work with Siri you will need the Chamberlain bridge which is about $90. I haven't received mine yet so if anyone can speak to the Google/Apple home integration please do so. Thanks OP!

I live in a city, so the Amazon Key compatibility alone is worth the $20 - no more stolen packages -- hopefully!

Are we gonna consider $20 as the regular price for this yet?!? Or do we think it'll only be like this for the holidays and then back to the 30s.

I got this at $17 on Friday. HomeKit works perfectly with my HomeBridge server setup. This works much much better than the Insignia HomeKit opener.

Super easy to setup. My only gripe with it is lack of voice control to open the door with Google Assistant.

Anyone able to get the bridge for a deal? I've been watching for about 6 months and the thing never goes on sale.

It will work to give status updates and will close the door with GA, but will not open it via voice. The stand alone app opens and works very quickly though. I haven't used it with Apple Home though. I don't feel that it's worth it (to me) to integrate Siri with the bridge because I can just open the MyQ app but I can understand the desire to have it integrated everywhere.

The reviews are iffy. Do you have pay to use IFTTT and google? how about Alexa?

Just installed this after purchasing the last slick deal a couple days ago. Easy install. Took all of 5-10 min. Definitely a great product and slick deal.

Looks cool, but does this unit only control a single door? I have two small doors that have their own codes. Would I need two, then?
