Well, I ordered one. The preliminary invoice I received specifically breaks the bundle down as follows: Switch console $229.05, memory card $49.96, and wireless controller $19.99. I definitely think if the final invoice is broken down in the same way by item that I will be attempting to return both the memory card and the controller (Amazon is selling a compatible memory card for $17.00 and I don't need the wireless controller) --- if that works, this will be a killer deal for the console alone (especially since I had a 10% off coupon to boot).

This is the 2nd best Nintendo Switch deal (nest was the YMMV 25% off Target deal) so far since you can return the SD Card and the Wireless Controller making the Switch Console $229. If I needed a Switch Console I would jump on it and return the other items. Did this same thing last year at Walmart with the Cyber Monday PS4 Slim 1TB bundle deal which included RDR2 and an additional PS4 Dualshock Controller. Net cost of the PS4 Console after returning those items. was a little over $100.

Thanks very much for being the first to try ordering it and sharing the results from the invoice received here! I had initially not seen the items/prices split up when adding the bundle to the cart and starting to check out, so I dismissed it. But after seeing your post and a couple others after you who did the same, I went for it late last night, and got the invoice broken up exactly as you described it. I know it's not guaranteed to be successful, and I won't be able to find out for a couple weeks, thanks to the extended wait on shipping - but I'm certainly hopeful. And even if it doesn't work out, I can just return the whole bundle and look for something else. I've been waiting a long time to get one, so I'm certainly capable of waiting longer if necessary. Anyway, thanks again! :-)

I got the original deal with wireless, but worth noting the savings it showed on bundle page (~70 dollars) was the sum of the sd card and the controller itemized value. This wired bundle now shows a higher savings by about $5, so perhaps the new breakdown drives even more value IF returns prove possible.

You can't return any type of video game hardware without a receipt (it is a specific listed exception to their no-receipt return rules), and they won't give you any more than you paid for each item. The actual sticker prices of the 128GB memory card (yes, Walmart does actually list that card at $49.99) and the wireless controller are shown on the receipt breakdown.

Well, you could try, but I don't like your chances of doing any thing besides wasting your time...
