I bought this, the email says the subscription starts today? I was planning on starting it in a few weeks since I don't need it right now, but will it really expire a year from the purchase date, before you even attach/activate it with a Microsoft account?

Yes, you can. I believe you can load both up and not have to worry about remembering to load the second after the first year expires. Smilie

Yeh i agree i guess people are using it for storage too. 1tb isnt bad for 50 a year with the features.
