That's alright man. I did more research and decided to wait for a deal for Ridgid, similar torque and price and lifetime warranty even for batteries
Also, I don't see break away torque as being shady marketing, knowing that I have a battery operated impact gun that will bust all the nuts is all that I really need. I don't have any need to ever impact something to anywhere near what the break away torque number is, and I find myself being extra cautious using the large impact for anything other then but busting. I feel a lot more comfortable using my smaller impact and a torque wrench for tightening.
Earlier this year I bought the Earthquake 1/2in and love it, but if I had a chance to grab the Kobalt at this price I would have went this route for sure. The EQ is more powerful, but this thing will eat as well.
