Not threadcrapping, but contributing. Watch the review below before buying. This gives no radiant heat from the sides. I actually like some smoke to keep bugs and mosquitoes away. Plus, I prefer to be able to see and control the fire, added pleasure and it's fun!

I have the bonfire. Everyone seems to love it. The girlfriend actually complains now that there isn't enough smoke so you don't end up smelling like a campfire. This is close to $100 less than I paid.

I had a hard time deciding between the bonfire and the yukon (bigger). I ended up going with the bonfire b/c it'll take up less space, can be more portable (not that I plan on moving it from my pool patio area), and also wouldn't eat up wood so fast. I'll have 5 people around this normally.

Still not 100% sure I made the right choice.

I have the same thought. I always want larger but the smaller size and lower price will be better for my use. Plus i wanted the top screen which Lowe's had 40% off, which the they did not have for the Yukon. It would be another $300 for the Yukon after the screen so i went with the bonfire with stand and screen for $300

Depends on how many people you plan on regularly have sitting around the fire. I'd say if you have 6 or less I'd go with the Bonfire size. If larger groups get the Yukon.

TU. I impulse shopped for the bonfire last year since Yukon wasn't available yet. But I didn't get the stand which was an additional $20 at the time. Was hoping for the rain cover. But Lowe's seem to only have the Yukon and ranger.

One thing it did was make me lazy at stacking logs for efficient burning. I just throw the log and kindling however I please now and light it up without any excessive smoke.
I would probably still buy the bonfire now with the option easier to single carry a 20" diameter can vs a 30"

Most likely it would just be a few people most of the time, but like the size of the Yukon.

It's true. It's a trade off, I guess. My family does have to circle in closer to the Bonfire to stay warm on colder nights. But it sure is nice not sucking in smoke all night and only have a tiny bit of ash to empty out the next day.
