This is great if you can use all/most of the tools and don't mind relatively basic versions. It includes the LED light (P705) unlike many of the inexpensive kits which include P704. The 2.0 Ah P190 batteries are a nice light duty choice, but would probably be good to get a 4Ah for the saws and trimmer. Here is the full tool list:

Includes: (1) P215 18-Volt ONE+ Drill/Driver with bit, (1) P235A 18-Volt ONE+ Impact Driver with bit, (1) P519 18-Volt ONE+ Reciprocating Saw with blade, (1) P505 18-Volt ONE+ Circular Saw with blade and blade wrench, (1) P343 18-Volt ONE+ Multi-Tool, (1) P705 18-Volt ONE+ Work Light, P440 ONE+ 1/4 Sheet Sander with dust bag and sample sandpaper, (1) P7131 ONE+ Hand Vacuum, (1) P2003A ONE+ String Trimmer with trimmer line, (2) P190 ONE+ 2.0 Ah Compact Lithium-Ion Batteries, (1) P118B 18-Volt ONE+ Charger, (1) Bag, and operator's manuals

The P505 is a 6.5" circular saw.

Edit: P505 is actually a 5.5" circular saw. Thanks to BJohns015 for the correction.
As a former contractor who has had regular and continued exposure to high end tools (Dewalt, Ryobi (sorry,I meant Milwaukee)), etc.), I can tell you that for some jobs, it's nice to have "burner" tools, which is what I used to consider Ryobi. Less likely to get stolen, good to lend out when a coworker forgets a tool he needs, cheap to replace if it breaks, etc. That said, nowadays anything that isn't your daily workhorse is pretty much fine to use Ryobi on. Better, in some cases (their jigsaw is fantastic, their brad nailer might be the best in the market). Don't get me wrong: I hated the switch from medium blue to annoying as hell green, but whatever.

These days, when I need real power I'm grabbing my corded tools: Dewalt hammer drill, Dewalt worm drive circ saw, or Milwaukee sawzall, etc. For everything else, I'm buying one+ at these insane prices. Sometimes I buy two so I have spares to lend out or so I have one in my garage and in my shed.
Excellent value for first time homeowners and casual project people. I have everything in the picture except for the sander and reciprocating saw and they all get the job done. I've never had a Ryobi tool die on me (yet) in the past eight years. I'd be ecstatic if I got this as a gift before I started building up my tool collection. Between this, a big Mechanics sockets box, and some multi-bit packs you can take on pretty much anything.

The yard trimmer head is reversible so it lets you do lawn trimming as well as edging easily, but you may find yourself wanting one of the larger high capacity batteries if you have a sizable yard.

The circular saw is great and truly portable, but it won't cut anything larger than a 2" deep piece of wood due to the size of the blade. I've cut landscaping timbers with it but had to cut one side, flip it, then finish on the back.

Nothing spectacular here but this is a crazy amount of tools for the price. Great starter kit for someone who doesn't have any tools yet.

Solid deal. I'd buy if I didn't already have half of the tools.

There is 4 in stock near me so Military/Veterans can go in person to purchase in store with another 10% off with military/veterans ID making it $225.00. So tempting

I kinda like this6 tool bundle [homedepot.com] for $229 better.

Weed wacker and hand vac don't do much for me. Palm sander would be awesome....when I need it years from now.

Smaller kit also has 1.3a battery (I don't have any little ones) and 4a (perfect for my string lights and the saws).

Guess it all comes down to if it's worth flipping what I wouldn't use in the 9 tool kit. Any idea of expected resale on the weed trimmer, hand vac, batteries and charger?

Wow, this deal definitely won't last long. Possibly a price mistake?
It's listed in their printed ad (12/5 - 12/12) for the same price.

They couldn't throw in the lawn mower?
