Why can't there be deals on cables that do USB3 speeds AND power delivery? It's always one or the other and that means you have to have two cables for two different purposes. I'd rather just pay a bit more for something like this:

It does matter for charging if you're using it to charge a laptop that requires 100W charging, such as the Microsoft Surface Book 2 laptop.
He meant USB 2.0 doesn't matter for PD charging

For my iPhone 11, I need the usb c cable paired with the 18W charger to achieve max fast charging speed. USB A max out around 12W.
C to C is the only supported "fast charge" way. There are "fast" chargers out there that will do A to C, but Google for instance only certifies C to C for it's Power Delivery (PD) spec
