    Dont know why you would spend this much unless you had a massive tree. I bought Santa's Last Stand and it is very sturdy and only costs $40.

    All it takes is for your tree to fall over once due to a cheap stand. Losing years of memories nad hundreds of dollars in ornaments is devastating. These stands are simply the best.

    Yeah, I agree. But when I researched, the santa stand came back as the most sturdy for my needs. Its solid steel and is the only one I found that can go all the way down to a 2" trunk size while still being able to accomodate giant trees. Just saying there are great options that arent as expensive as that one is all.
