But the refresh rates are not any better. That was my point.

You can't have everything at this price point.

I would say it's a better gaming specification compared to this one, as long as you don't need the USB-C port, and your okay with a VA panel. Build quality that's a different story.

I have no idea. I'm in no way knocking this deal, I'm just looking for a higher refresh.

From what I've seen over the past few weeks, the answer to your question is no. Frown

IPS panel won't have a good refresh rate normally. This won't be for gamers at all.

Yeah not for this price sadly . I caved and bought an Alienware ultra wide for $600. Above my budget of $500ish but looks like it does everything I needed . IPS 1440p ultrawide at 120hz

I have this one -- just dropped by to check if the price I paid was good according to slickdeals. I especially like the cable setup -- just one usb-c that goes to my laptop for charging, display, peripherals. The stand's build could be better. That's probably a compromise I have to live with for not paying $200 more if I don't return this one.

Edit: not*

Is this HiDPI/can you see the pixels or are most monitors HiDPI nowadays? I have an 27" LG 4K USB-C monitor and I'm thinking of upgrading to a bigger ultrawide with USB-C.
