EDIT information from Better.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
I work with Better, com and wanted to see if you could please add in the following information to your post on Amex/Better,com deal as it reads incorrect as it stands, especially regarding eligibility. We want to make sure the offer is stated as accurately as possible:
1) Mortgage rates of any specific customer, stated or otherwise, should not be taken as indicative of a mortgage rate available to all customers. Pricing is based on a number of factors, including the individual credit profile of a potential borrower.
2) The offer is only available to those borrowers who have been marketed to directly by American Express, and those who have not received the offer on their Amex portal or via email are not eligible.

The $1670 credit, did you have to ask for it? They gave me $61 lender credit! Lol.
I shared quote from Sebonic and they matched it.

Any body knows what is current rate better.com is offering.

Go to Better.com, input your assumptions and get the rates. It will take all of 2-3 minutes.

I closed with Better two weeks ago. Is it advisable to refinance again almost immediately now that rates are plunging? Credit score take a hit? I got the Rocket offer from Amex too.

I got a 260k loan with 50k cash-out --- rate for 2.75%. with the amex credit, I get 700 after closing. Seems like a good deal to me. Any thoughts?

Loan was processed on 11th February and received $2500 AMEX credit today (03/05).

312K refi on 480K value without appraisal @ 3% for 15 years.

After $1670 credit I had to pay around $560 from my pocket out of which $310 was the interest for 15 days (section F).

Not targeted by AMEX, just clicked on link posted by OP.

I'm ready for round 2 with rocket or quicken 😎
Care to share what rate you are offered by rocket/quicken?
Asking because I am in same boat as you and closed on Feb 19th at 3% for 15 years. Want to see if double dip possible with new rates going down.

So $1670 credit was offered by Sebonic? I assume you took that to better.com and they offered you the credit? The $2500 was the AMEX offer so it probably did not have anything to do with whatever the credits are being offered by the lender. Did they match the rates too?

Loan funded 2/14, Credit posted to AmEx Card 3/4. Did not have this offer on any of the AmEx Cards. Going to start another refi as rates have dropped again.

No time limits with refi? Don't have to wait 6 months or anything like that?

You can refinance as many times as you want, but some lenders have limits and some lenders need you to wait 6 months.

Does anyone know if you can refiance again since rates are dropping and get the $2500 credit again? Perhaps to a different card? I don't see anything in the terms disqualifying this.

I am positive that better will not take your file again. Depending on the credit you got from them, they will lose money if you dont keep the loan for atleast 4-6 months
