EDIT information from Better.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
I work with Better, com and wanted to see if you could please add in the following information to your post on Amex/Better,com deal as it reads incorrect as it stands, especially regarding eligibility. We want to make sure the offer is stated as accurately as possible:
1) Mortgage rates of any specific customer, stated or otherwise, should not be taken as indicative of a mortgage rate available to all customers. Pricing is based on a number of factors, including the individual credit profile of a potential borrower.
2) The offer is only available to those borrowers who have been marketed to directly by American Express, and those who have not received the offer on their Amex portal or via email are not eligible.

I think after you choose a closing date, there is a task that asks for the last 4 digits of the amex card you want to use to apple the credit.
Correct. We were asked alongside the closing date selection. On Thursday we were sent 3 jobs, including closing date/final loan numbers and amex cardholder name + last digits of card.

I was due to close on tuesday, and they wacked close to a grand off their lender credit on the final estimate. Still waiting for an explanation. Simple mistake, or "lock failure"?

This happened to us as well, our appraisal didn't come in as high as we expected so it changes points. Just happy to close right now.

I closed on 2/13. Still no credit yet, anybody in the same timeline?
Yep. Closed on February 12. Nothing.

My loan was just sold to FannieMae (so far, Better > TMS > PennyMac > FM (PennyMac still servicer).

I've been watching my Amex online account waiting to see the credit. That's how I've been checking. Maybe they will send an email, not sure on that! My balance is due 4/10 on my credit card and I've left approx a $2500 balance so that I didn't have to request a credit refund. If it doesn't come before then I guess I will have to pay and request a refund after the fact!

Curious for anyone who HAS received a credit recently (in the past 7 days or so) when did you close? I think the customers who funded early Feb took about 3 weeks for credit. I'm not sure what the normal is for mid to late Feb.

Interesting, good luck. Haven't gotten my final one yet either. Saved all the estimates along the way though.

Ah, figure it was because I asked to roll some of the closing costs into mortgage since I'm not sure I could get to a bank this week. The pushing me above 75% LTV, based on my estimate.

Can I use the link OP provided to start the process to get the credit?
I do not see this offer in any of my AMEX cards
Yes just use link. Lots of people who got the credit didn't have anything show up in their Amex offers.

From? Fees? Credit?

Thanks for info
Sorry, you're right: Better.com, $250 in points, $3,040 in loan costs. So it will be $790 after the Amex credit. Better gave us a $500 "lender credit".
