I work with Better,com and wanted to see if you could please add in the following information to your post on Amex/Better,com deal as it reads incorrect as it stands, especially regarding eligibility. We want to make sure the offer is stated as accurately as possible:
1) Mortgage rates of any specific customer, stated or otherwise, should not be taken as indicative of a mortgage rate available to all customers. Pricing is based on a number of factors, including the individual credit profile of a potential borrower.
2) The offer is only available to those borrowers who have been marketed to directly by American Express, and those who have not received the offer on their Amex portal or via email are not eligible.

No, I wasn't locked. I knew once I was locked they wouldn't be lowering my rate. I have no idea if their policy changed. That's just what they did when I applied.

How long does it take for the loan number to allow me to register my loan on the Money Source site? Got my email from Better com 2 days ago but the Money Source doesn't allow me to create my account. Says to call... Just wondering if it was instant for you all or a few days?

TMS will send an email to you. They also said their system only updates once a day with new loans.

Do not create account with tms, soon you will hear that your loan will be transferred to some other lender

Regular. The co-branded are explicitly as unusable. Thats not to say someone may say it worked for them but the terms say that.
