I went through all of the tasks and they are now asking for a $550 deposit for the appraisal. Do I get credit back on my Amex card for that? Looks like I'd be charged there.

Strange, i didnt have to pay for appraisal in Phoenix, maybe its based on location

Same here. They told me the $550 is to lock in the rate and that they will refund it at closing.

Same in Tucson - my concierge said it would have been expedited and waived. Then again I never got that far either because I ended up with an appraisal waiver.

Now I got this email

Has anyone received a notification when a task has been assigned? I've been logging in a couple times a day to check because I don't get any notifications.

I don't get any emails for tasks. I am checking a couple of time a day and that is how I learn on new tasks. I don't think their system is setup correctly. Notification settings is set to receive emails, calls, and texts for tasks.

Hello, I too saw this deal only last night and have been trying to read the whole thread. Initial posts suggested anyone qualifies for this deal but the edit in the OP from better states that this is targeted.

So my question is, am I late to the party? The $2500 credit is valid only for invited card holders?
