Notary and closing
Here is what you can expect or ask for from my experience:
1. New pen for signing wiped thoroughly
2. Pen stays with you after signing
3. Only material they will touch would be your ID
4. ID would be wiped and returned back
5. Can expect gloves to be worn
6. Signing can happen in your front yard or in your garage
7. If you have a Costco table then you can sit on either sides to maintain distancing
8. Masks might be recommended given new guidelines
9. Plus discuss with the notary!!

- Applied with the soft pull on May 26th. Rate and costs from Better.com were astronomically high. $13K in Closing Costs(did include like $5k in Escrow though)
- Applied with Lender Fi as others suggested here May 28th. Very good rate and credit($2200) at 3.125%, could have done lower 3% with a smaller credit but I wanted to pay nothing out of Pocket if possible.
- Better.com matched Lenderfi May 31st, beat the credits by $1200ish.
- Wanted to keep shopping around but rates fluctuated higher for 3 days straight From May 28th to May 31.
- June 1st Decided to cave and lock it by the deadline they gave me for the match. 3.125% with $3427 Credit. Hard Pull for credit to finalize everything.
- June 1st Appraisal Ordered - Scheduled June 3rd, final Report Received June 5th. $40K higher than we paid 8 months back.
- June 1st Title Ordered. - Cleared June 4th
- June 2-3rd Completed like 25 Tasks including proof of income, general questions such as proof of residence, bank records etc....
- June 3rd - Completely Approved for underwriting
- June 5th Final Appraisal report including "final Loan Estimate with new figures"
- June 8th Spoke with them about having the final go ahead with the loan. Brought up the shopping for a title. Wanted cheaper and a local company instead. Specifically the one that did our previous loan down the road. It was going to save us $320ish bucks. They said no problem OR they gave us an extra $500 credit so we dont take 3-5 days of a stop. Took the credit easy decision. Updated the Loan Estimate.
- June 9th Moved into closing once I got the new LE. Got assigned some new tasks with the latest paystubs and what nots.
- June 10th(today) they asked me for the last 5 numbers of my Amex for the credit.
Nothing has happened since closing though, but its only been 24 hours. This can only be generated once the loan is in processing. Your processor sends this to you. It is called a "Change in Circumstance" Redisclosure. However, I can guarantee it will be the same deal, no points, no fees or charges. Owning pays appraisal and all third party fees.
I sent them the owning.com index page snipit. Hope that makes a diff.
Unfortunately no way management would approve this- I need either a lender's fee sheet reflecting the rate you want or the official estimate.

From start of application to closing took 13 days. That's the fastest I've ever experienced. Ever.
