Here is what you can expect or ask for from my experience:
1. New pen for signing wiped thoroughly
2. Pen stays with you after signing
3. Only material they will touch would be your ID
4. ID would be wiped and returned back
5. Can expect gloves to be worn
6. Signing can happen in your front yard or in your garage
7. If you have a Costco table then you can sit on either sides to maintain distancing
8. Masks might be recommended given new guidelines
9. Plus discuss with the notary!!

I am in process right now. Original quote for the Title section (C) was around $1,800 without appraisal. When the Better Title company got hold of it, it dropped to $1,500. I have a quote locally for $1200.
Anyone have any luck getting Better Title folks to adjust their rates?
The way i look at it having credit run in a 14day window for the same type is batched in a single query.

Yea, I have investments all over the place so i am not taking the negative points and putting it in Tesla lol; its in other stuff but its not 1 for 1 ha.
My calculations has been about a 7-11 point drop post refinance and hard pulls and recovery of 2-3 points each month thereafter without any negatives hitting.

I too am confused as in the past I have gotten a Loan Estimate prior to the Lender running Credit. At times you had to have a phone call etc but I did this mass refinance a while back almost 8+ years now.
This time around almost everyone is asking me to apply and run full credit before they'd send me a LE. I am asking the forum if thats what everyone is encountering as well?
LoanCabin actually locked me in without me saying "Lock" which isnt bad for me but am surprised! I am chatting with their SVP via email but I am sure they are backed up so will await now a set of Disclosures to consider anything else.

Second - a lock does not hurt if you go elsewhere. It does limit chances they will give you a better rate though.

The above out of the way, accepting the offer is also not that detrimental. The only gotcha really is if you have another lender you've submitted the "intent to proceed" with, their underwriting dept. may find out and tell you to pick one and withdraw the app from the other. Still nothing really lost.
