Notary and closing
Here is what you can expect or ask for from my experience:
1. New pen for signing wiped thoroughly
2. Pen stays with you after signing
3. Only material they will touch would be your ID
4. ID would be wiped and returned back
5. Can expect gloves to be worn
6. Signing can happen in your front yard or in your garage
7. If you have a Costco table then you can sit on either sides to maintain distancing
8. Masks might be recommended given new guidelines
9. Plus discuss with the notary!!

Better Mortgage
this was based on my experience in May (I refi'd & closed in June)...wishing more lenders were like Better Mortgage in having an automated platform that can generate LE's based on rate selections.
So weighing my option to see how do I force WM to give me an LE. probably need to escalate

I applied almost 2 weeks back on a Monday and got the LE on Wednesday. I did email the contact twice to keep up on it. I think they have gotten being bombarded (SD Effect?) and seems like their turn around time has been longer.
The bright side is that no one has yet claimed that the numbers were different than what they saw/quoted. Keep calling; emailing them for the a Loan Estimate.
For me they already "Locked" my rate which again I did not "Commit" to lol but was the best offer of the bunch (until yesterday) so I did not mind it but they sent the LE without issue.

How is Loan Depot easy? They don't even show rates on their web site, not speaking about getting a LE. I filled out the basic info like name, phone and email and all I get is multiple automated voice messages asking to called them back. How do I get a LE from Loan Depot?
