This deal works for either the 1TB WD BLACK SN750 NVMe SSD (no heatsink)
https://shop.westerndigital.com/p...DS100T3X0C
or the WD Elements Desktop Hard Drive 8TB
https://shop.westerndigital.com/p...80HBK-NESN - OOS
edit:
The 6TB red drive is also $129.99 and can be bought for this price as well:
https://shop.westerndigital.com/p...d#WD60EFAX

Filler:
64 GB USB drive (there are 3 options at 10.99, pick one)
https://shop.westerndigital.com/p...0-064G-A46

(must buy 3 and add filler for best deal. Shipping is free.

Western Digital is offering 10 days of deals. Day 1 is:
Spend $400, save $100
Spend $200, save $45
Spend $100, save $20

In quantities of 3:

Each of the above items are $129.99 in cart. 3 is $389.97.
Add filler of 10.99 bring total to $409.96.
$100 will automatically come off (no coupon needed).
I was unable to get any other coupon to stack.
This yields $100.32 each (plus tax) + a 64 GB USB 3.1 thumb drive.

In quantities of 1:

Add 1 item. $20 will come off yielding $109.99 plus tax.

I'm sure other combinations exist but didn't do math on breakpoints.
The 4TB red drive for 90 may be of interest to some in conjunciton with this:

Curious if later deals will end up being better than this one.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

you can use scotch tape. no need to blow $$

Since we're already shucking drives, might as well stay Ghetto.

Note: I could not get direct pay to work (CC authorization failed). Paypal worked on second try (failed first attempt). Have confirmation for order.

Note cheaper filler ($10.49 vs. $10.99)

Seems like a good time to stock up on drives for a NAS. The 8tb is the shuckable variety correct?
