Limit seems to be 3 per customer. HBO NOW is $15/month, so each card is 2 months subscription. At $21 for $30 this is a 30% savings.

The article that I read when HBO Max was announced said that HBO Go and HBO Now customers would get HBO Max. So hopefully that was correct.

Pardon my ignorance, but how does tax work? I'm not seeing tax being charged on the GC purchase, so is HBO going to charge tax when I redeem the GC? I'm afraid they'll take ~$17 from the gift card value and I'll be left with an odd $13 balance that I'll then need to register a credit card to redeem the remainder.

Can you use this for a month and then deactivate next month or do you have to use it up in one shot (so two months... and then your greedy state will probably tax it so it might not even be enough for two months).

Xfinity does free HBO weekends once in a while. Enough for Barry, etc.

I got the $25 cards last year, and you cannot deactivate and keep credit, unless cards were different. You can just buy multiple and keep some for later.

I didn't know about HBO Max and to be honest this is getting ridiculous. People stopped torrenting or streaming with XBMC, and now they are slowly going to be pushing people to do it again, they are segmenting the market horribly just because they don't want to support Hulu or Netflix. It's really insane.

I wouldn't pay in advance hoping you will binge-watch shows in one sitting with one card. Your money now is worth more than money later.
