I've been waiting for the Wireless version to come back in stock. This does use pixel shifting but from all the reviews I have read it is crystal clear. I especially wanted the wireless version as it supposedly supports additional HDR modes.
For a projector that has a motorized lens along with lens memory this is a great deal. Positioning flexibility is also incredible.
Keep in mind this also comes with the Epson 2 year exchange warranty even though it is refurbished! Stack it with an Amex that matches the manufacturer warranty to make it 4 years total.

Get it quick, these usually don't stay in stock very long.
I know some will bring up the power supply issue but from what I have read this has been resolved more recently, while not perfect with a two year warranty you can't really go wrong.
Some reviews of the NON-wireless version:

Now if only I could find an awesome deal on some Epson RF 3D glasses to go with this.

It doesn't support for HDMI bandwidth. It won't allow 4k, 60hz, and HDR at the same time. I believe it only supports 10.2gbps vs 18gbps. Just an FYI. Overall though, the picture quality is amazing.

If i did not have a projector i would jump on this.
I have had 3 projectors in the last 15 years: I started with a Sanyo PLV-Z1, thern a pana PT-AX200 and now an Epson 3700.
If it's your first projector:
Make sure you keep some money for sound. A receiver with more than stereo, with center and rear speakers makes a big difference.
Don't plan to use it like a TV: to enjoy it at its best you need to dim the room, and the bulb has a limited life time so don't leave it on all day.

I use a hdfury linker to get full hdr gaming on x and ps4 pro. Works well but not ideal.

The projector puts out 2k pixels and then other 2k pixels. It does it so fast that your eyes cannot catch it. So technically it is 4k projector because it is displaying unique 4k pixels. Some people don't accept it because the native resolution is not 4k
