Thanks for the heads up on this. I have an older version of this and I just opened the package. I liked it so much I decided to order another one for my other PC. I started reading the reviews on Amazon and the new version is terrible. I was luckily able to cancel the order before it shipped.
This is really disappointing as I liked Logitech and seems they have cheapened out on their products. Anything else comparable around $25?
Here is the thing - It allows you to connect with two different devices at a time. The wireless one works good but the other one using bluetooth is unreliable. Over bluetooth, it has sketchy connection and sometimes, I loose connection with PC (cursor wont respond or move).
So, its as good as any other tiny mouse that connects to one device using USB or the secondary device isnt your most used device, I guess.

Also switch between 2 BT laptops is instant (button on top). Other buttons are programmable through Logitech software.
I use this for work and it's by far the quietest mouse in my experience. Feedback and response is pretty solid, along with very long battery life with AA batteries.
