Isn't the M705 a better mouse for the same price on Amazon?

Depending on your need. M590 is newer BT enabled and connects to up to 3 devices

If you can find the older version with thumb button I think the M705 is a better mouse and feel, most newer Logitech mouse feel "cheap " .

I have a Logitech M720 Triathlon [logitech.com] which I love but I actually use do use it to switch between three systems as advertised (2 are bluetooth with a dual-boot between Windows and Linux, and I use the wireless dongle for a third option). A quieter click would be very nice but I can't find anywhere online that this Logitech M590 [logitech.com] can do any more than two devices - and I don't need to use two at the same time which this one advertises. Anybody know if it can switch between three and just isn't marketed that way?

Thanks for the heads up on this. I have an older version of this and I just opened the package. I liked it so much I decided to order another one for my other PC. I started reading the reviews on Amazon and the new version is terrible. I was luckily able to cancel the order before it shipped.

This is really disappointing as I liked Logitech and seems they have cheapened out on their products. Anything else comparable around $25?

I have got one of these tiny things and they work okay I suppose...

Here is the thing - It allows you to connect with two different devices at a time. The wireless one works good but the other one using bluetooth is unreliable. Over bluetooth, it has sketchy connection and sometimes, I loose connection with PC (cursor wont respond or move).

So, its as good as any other tiny mouse that connects to one device using USB or the secondary device isnt your most used device, I guess.

Hard to find anything good for $25 , I just look for the older model M705 on ebay or Amazon if they sell it.

Awesome mouse, very silent, only the scroll wheel makes some sound. Annoying mouse clicking sounds gone!

Also switch between 2 BT laptops is instant (button on top). Other buttons are programmable through Logitech software.

I use this for work and it's by far the quietest mouse in my experience. Feedback and response is pretty solid, along with very long battery life with AA batteries.

I use the m535 and I'm not joking when I say it's the best mouse I've ever used lol. I like it better than the Magic Mouse too. Being able to connect thru BT is really important for me because I live that dongle life with a MacBook Pro so USB ports are premium real estate. I edit audio and video daily so being able to customize buttons for scrolling left and right is really helpful. It's still running strong but sometimes these days I have to open the Logitech options app for the short cut keys to work properly. Not sure if it's a mouse or OS issue. Any ways, I might pick this up and use the m535 till I can't any more and then bring this off the bench.
