Got the silver one as it looks very stylish compared to the good old black. Wink

Btw, if you use PayPal/Chase, you get 5% cash back + 1% cb on the infamous (starts with e and ends with s and now renamed to R) cashback site.

Overall, this is the best Thanksgiving pre/post deal that has come to SD, IMHO!

Really? I had always heard the 3500u was a beast at running games. When I run steam on that i5 it wants to run in 720p because it "only has 1.35mb of dedicated graphics memory" or something like that. And that is just steam, not even a game.. Am I doing something wrong?

Costco's return policy will not stop. Also the banning of returns is based on how much you spend. Which if you do most of your grocery shopping there. A few hundred bucks to return is nothing.

It doesn't matter, the rhyme/reason for the ban. It doesn't have to be explained to you. It's all internal. For instance, if you get banned from Amazon. It's like a death sentence. You can go to Amazon's headquarters and cry on their steps, but they won't re-instate your Amazon account. You better move to another house, change all of your personal data, and pretend to be a new human being. Someone's taking a loss and its due to you. Now you might not care since you might not care about others. But if it was someone giving you the shaft, you best believe you'd care about it! Some people simply abuse return policies. There would be no banning if it wasn't a negative to constantly use the return process. But that's not the case. Stores do ban for people who constantly return goods.

Please enlighten me with several of your so-called deals that are better than this at this price range for a 2.5 lb size laptop with decent specs.

PS: I reiterate and request you to please find a laptop deal that weighs a mere 2.5 lbs and should be very, very light and highly portable. So, enlighten me, please. I am waiting...

My final price, after taxes and cashback, is a whopping $305. Mind blowing deal.

The main reason this particular model won't game well is single channel RAM with the integrated graphics. Essentially running at half speed for any graphics benchmark/game you've previously seen for this processor. Look for another laptop model/manufacturer with two RAM slots for best performance.
