Has anybody noticed the touch pad seems to have some occasional lag? Like slow to respond when you first start to move your finger? Seems like you can make tiny 1/8 or 1/4 inch movements back and forth with your finger before the cursor starts to respond. Trying to isolate exactly when it happens, but so far its driving me crazy. Gonna try and do some updates to see if that clears it up. Ive already disabled enhanced mouse resolution. Any other suggestions? I'm hoping I didn't get a dud. Laptop otherwise looks really nice.

Still trusting the manufacturer is different than some random person impersonating the manufacturer.
The manufacturer has some incentive (and maybe contractual obligation to Walmart) to be trustworthy.

Ordered this laptop on friday with an ETA of tuesday the 17th. I am a bit concerned my package is lost. "Shipped out" on the 14th but tracking is stuck at preshipment. Anyone else have this issue?

Also bought intel 9260 wlan card and a 512gb nvme drive for some upgrades. Excited to try this out

It took a day for Walmart to actually ship mine after receiving the shipped notification...I'd guess it will actually get picked up by fedex tonight

The shipping update is not being updated correctly. Mine was supposed to arrive on Mon as per Walmart.

Once Fedex received the package, the arrival date was all over the place.
First it showed me the expected delivery date as Sat two days prior to Mon reported by Walmart originally.
Then it changed Sun - one day prior to Mon.
Then on Sun morning it changed to shipment delayed and it showed expected delivery date as Tue - one day after the original date.
But then on Sun afternoon, Fedex guy delivers it at the door.

Copy. Thanks guys. Will hold off until tomorrow night and see what happens. Walmart said I should still have it by tomorrow and if not they'll overnight me one. I guess everyone is having problems now that its holiday season.

Anyone with the laptop can you check to see if when pressing the boost button it has software that runs with it? I blasted away the windows install and can't seem to find any software for it just generic drivers. If so could you zip up any software that came installed and share it? Or just give the names of it really, maybe I can find the installs. Such a shit company, they should provide everything that is installed after windows for those that need to ever reinstall, or upgrade the drive. If I can't get the software I guess it goes back to Walmart for a replacement and I'll be sure to image the drive.

how can i tell if speed mode is working?

would love for someone to test 8gb ram vs 16gb on gaming on this one, to see if it makes any diffrerence.

FIFA 20 1080p, plays on low at 45fps. Not bad at all.
