is there some kind of shipping restriction for filament to California?
Only a handful of brands could ship to my address on Amazon, and this is not one of them Frown

Not sure way. It doesn't have the standard "State of California says this might give you the cancer" message.

From item description:

Ive had the same problem. Thankfully the brands I purchase most dont have any issues, but I have definitely had to pass on a few filaments I wanted to try because they wouldnt ship. Probably something we should take up with Amazon CS.

Ordered black and white for my son. He is finishing building his chess pieces on Autodesk Fusion 360 (free software for personal use). This should be good.

It likely has to do with regulatory compliance for shipments to CA. Some places, like Grizzly Industrial, tack on a surcharge for the additional aggravation, while others just refuse to ship.
