This is a newer and upgraded one (better wheels, slightly more space) for less money than the 440 I got back in July from Walmart.com. Plus it has a cover and is readily available around me. Nice deal!

As others have said, this is one of the smaller ones and is subject to worse heat fluctuations than the larger ones.

little bigger than the "tailgater" size. I have the 700 sold by Walmart and that's a little small.

What the heck. At this price I ordered for pickup ~7 miles away. There were 8 in stock. ~$193 with tax and card discount, plus another 1% CB.

I'll do a little more research, and if it's truly not worth it, I'll cancel.

Tried to look up reviews and couldn't find much. Most of the links go back to Lowes and the PB website itself. Is this a Lowes-specific model?

How well do these work as grills vs propane? Did they take significantly longer to heat up?

Love my masterbuilt electric smoker but been eyeing a pellet one for awhile but would.want to replace my grill too.

This one is smaller than the pit boss I have but I use mine regularly for grilling. Yes it takes longer to heat up but everything I've made has tasted better. Just my opinion though, others may disagree Smilie

Same here, looks like a Lowe's only model. Seems like a great price, but I am worried about the size. How many racks of ribs with this thing hold?

The hopper alone is probably worth the price of admission on this. I looked at these models several times and the cooking box is really cheap. Probably will only last a few seasons at which point you can take the hopper off and attach it to something else (think homemade smoker)

Anyone ever had luck with Lowe's in-store matching an online price for another store? Showing $269 for me but I can look across the state border and find the 189 price.
