I saw the Weber Spirit post earlier so checked brickseek looking for a genesis sale to replace my great 15 year old genesis that is needing a bunch of parts anyway. I found the Genesis E-310 offered on sale at several Massachusetts stores in my area. In store I asked for the item number without telling them the price. They found one and offered free set up and delivery since it normally lists over $500 and I could see on the hand scanner it came up correctly as $399 (it was already built and covered in plastic in their stockroom). Lowe's employees were helpful certainly earned my repeat business. Not sure I like the new style of the porcelain enamel covered iron grates which are flat and light compared to my really heavyweight rounded ones but assume I'll get used to them.

Well - I decided to call to see if they had it in stock. Yes, I know the rule so save your yelling peeps! (By the time I could get there tomorrow they would have been gone anyways)
I didn't ask the price or anything just wanted to know if they had it before I drove over. Store let me pay for it over the phone and it is waiting for me to pick up at the online sales counter.

Awesome! I just bought it online for the full price.
I plan to go in for the pick-up, return it, and then purchase it agin for $399. Hope that works!
