OneBlade is a beautifully-designed product and a premium experience. There is a steeper than expected learning curve, but I enjoy using my Core so I continue to learn and adapt to the razor. Marketing, engineering, and the overall presentation of the razor are top notch.
It isn't perfect (I find it takes a lot of practice to shave properly along the jawline and under the nose) but it does do what it's designed to do, which is reduce irritation and prevent cuts/nicks. It's among the best shaving products I've tried. If there's ever a second-generation (third-generation?) product, I'd just suggest that the shaving surface is defined better so it takes less effort to maintain the angle, even with the pivoting head.

It really is among my favorite shaving products. I've hated every electric razor I've used, have a few scars from safety razors, and most cartridge razors are terrible imo. It's not perfect (no razor I've tried has been) but it's worth a try at this price. Their customer service has been great and has also generously has let me stack discounts in the past so I figured I'd post the deal here to give them some exposure.
Side note: Defender Razor is the best cartridge I've used. They also have excellent customer support. (I've found most modern shave companies do.) OneBlade is a step-up, but it isn't perfect for daily stubble since it does take quite a bit of effort to get an adequate result. It does an incredible job at cutting a week or two of growth.
Why would you ever use this? Instead of going with the double edge standard blades they went with the single edge. Defeats their purpose of reducing waste. Seems far more constrained than a DE razor, if wet shaving on training wheels is what you're after it may be ok but you're better off picking up a standard de safety razor instead

This minimizes the possibility of getting cut. For me that's worth the premium vs dealing with a bleeding face and scars from a DE razor. I also bleed more incessantly than the average person. I've tried the Bevel DE razor, probably won't go down that path again as tempting as the cost savings are.
Lately OneBlade has been good with providing a strong value. I'd suggest their "Mystery Box" to anybody looking for one of their more premium razors.
I just ordered the $60 mystery box and got a fantastic deal. (Don't want to post what's in it since it technically can vary by person, but I definitely got more than my money's worth.)
