$700 more than the (now expired) Daily Deal on eBay, but with a warranty at least.

Well Ebay now charges sales tax so my cost would have been $342.91 more since my state charges 8.6% combined total for state, city and county. I don't know if they offered free shipping on that expired deal.

It was free shipping and tax exempt.

It was for the rest of us. Most people are getting charged tax on eBay now, but read the comments from the thread. No one was getting charged tax. Did you actually try to check out?

The Q70R 75" is $1699 (which is 300 less than Samsung's site) and no tax of course.
