Port in take a day to be accomplished. After activation I have to chat to enable voicemail.
Plan really cover 360 days, not a 365 , And I have to pay taxes on this price.

They also have the unlimited talk, text, and data with 2GB high speed LTE data but it's slightly higher than what it was just two days ago Changed from $165 to $167

Hmmm.. I don't think people are going for at&t (no VoLTE, Wi-Fi calling, etc), Sprint (argh, the worst), no T-Mobile for this plan, leaving only VZW... Red Pocket is whoring out VZW's network, but I will gladly take her for a ride Smilie

Does VoLTE use my Red Pocket voice minutes and/or LTE data?

VoLTE will deduct your minutes at the same rate as regular calling, but will not deduct from your LTE data balance.

How do I know if my phone is compatible to use VoLTE on Red Pocket?

If your phone is capable of VoLTE calling, it will have the setting on it.

For Androids, this setting can typically be found in your Mobile Networks settings.

For iPhones, you will see the option in Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options.

For the GSMT network, Android VoLTE capable phones will be able to use this service.

For the CDMA network, it is can be used with all VoLTE capable phones.

For the CDMAS network, it can be used with the following phones (list updated 1/21/19):

Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+
LG V30+
iPhone 8, 8+, X, Xs, Xs Max and Xr

Grabbed their gsma plan a few weeks ago, had to play with the apn settings a bit but so far I'm happy with the service.

Hey bud - This is the AT&T network, right? Does it support WiFi calling? I'm thinking about this as an option for my Mom, who's older, has Alzheimer's and barely uses her phone, but I want her to have a phone. But AT&T in my home isn't that great, so I would want WiFi calling.

It does not, but I believe that on red pockets site they say that is coming early next year. I'm in an area (rural) where att is the only coverage available but it can be iffy at times. So far, I have had no issues with RP......just took a quick look at their site, looks like the gsmt plan supports it if TMobile towers are around.

DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO USE IMMEDIATELY. Learned the hard way, buried somewhere in the numerous tabs in the terms and conditions, 90 DAY LIMIT to activate. RP CS offered 10% off any new plan. Woohoo, what a deal, I get to pay another 90%! Pretty slick & slimey not to put it up front on the plan description.

So, I guess WiFi calling is a carrier thing, not a handset thing? I got my Mom a cheapo AT&T pre-paid phone (moto e5 cruise/play) and the handset now (with our post-paid AT&T SIM) does have WiFi calling, so I'd hate to lose it.
