Decent deal. But if anyone is looking for a better option, they should consider this buffered version which also contains bioflavinoids:

It is pretty well known that synthetic and natural C are identical.

Just remember that this "Vitamin C" is actually ascorbic acid and is known to be a pro-inflammatory for most people. Natural Vitamin C is actually an antioxidant.

I still remember the time I was coming down with some sniffles so I ate a big orange and within hours all symptoms went away! Consider me a believer in Vitamin C. woot

It worked like that for me. Perhaps you should provide a link disproving vitamin C's ability to fortify the immune system.

It does fortify the immune system but doesn't work instantly like was stated. I could bore you with the science behind it but if you care you could Google it. That being said, vitamin C is definitely helpful.

Of course, it does! Astringent foods, drinks, & herbs lift my hernia up. Hippocrates the father of medicine said, as a matter of fact, "let medicine be thy food, & food by thy medicine." Where do you think modern pharmaceutical drugs come from? Most are synthesized from natural herbal phytochemicals!

Correct, "After reviewing 60 years of clinical research, they found that when taken after a cold starts, vitamin C supplements do not make a cold shorter or less severe. When taken daily, vitamin C very slightly shortened cold duration -- by 8% in adults and by 14% in children."

So it definitely has some benefits but doesn't work instantly.
