Immensely better. I have this, Lenovo 10" smart speaker and the Google home hub. And the JBL Link 500. The JBL speakers blow everything out of the water. Absolutely no comparison. Lenovo has the best screen. Google home makes a nice bedside alarm clock. That's my hot take.
Way better...

Anyone know if this works with Kasa cameras? Getting annoyed that Lenovo smart display isn't being fixed. It used to stream the Kasa camera feeds but that was broken some time this summer.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I have one wyze cam but personally prefer the Kasa cam. What's most frustrating is that it used to work as desired, and now Lenovo and Google she blaming each other.

I know the pain with many of my Google related smart devices. Really frustrating when you're loyal to their ecosystem.

Loop TP-Link in with that situation...imo Kasa great customer service. About a year ago had same issue with echo show gen 2 and Wyze. Debate on whose servers were the issue but Wyze resolved.
It just looks like a boom box with an LCD screen where the tape deck would usually go.
As a standalone unit, the front firing speakers are probably a good addition, but you can get dedicated speakers to pair with any device.
However, most don't stop at one smart device and that's where this will feel out of place.
Also, the sound on the home hub (and probably the Lenovo as well) can be improved tremendously just by elevating it with some taller rubber feet.
Oh whatever! Can't improve the sound that much. They're both bad. Adding tall rubber feet...talk about attractive. I have all the displays and ranking this one right below nest hub max for display quality and sound. If you can't get over the look, get ready to settle on sound at least this one blows the home hub and Lenovo's away. The 10" Lenovo display is nicer though plus sleeker look. If you want to do any duo video calls, forget about the nest home hub. We like that feature on the other displays.

Yeah I have. We tried several things and they punted me to Lenovo. Since it works with Chromecast still, I'm buying that it's a bug/blockage on Lenovo's side. Lenovo claims it's something Google pushed, but I'm skeptical there's nothing they can do (i.e. I feels like they don't see the ROI in fixing it).
You're right through, Kasa support was a bit tough to find but I was in contact with there support reps via what I thought were there direct work email addresses.

Yes, same with the direct emails. Wonder if they could put some pressure on Lenovo internally if you maybe mentioned thinking of returning the cams because you're getting nowhere with them? Idk but you're right it does appear to be Lenovo's problem. The display on the Lenovo is really nice. Having the nest doorbell camera feed load automatically without having to ask with Alexa/Ring is what pushed me over to google although we still have all the displays for each ecosystem. Just prefer the visual interface.

I would consider it but then again I also don't like the look on this speaker...so I'm debating lol
