Does this end up coming in a code that you apply on the Tello site when signing up? If not, how does it come? How long does it typically take to port out from another carrier (ie RPM) to Tello?

It will be a code or a link, not sure which. Porting time can vary from a few minutes to a couple of days, depending on variables. Like most small MVNOs, it's best to initiate a port Monday-Thursday, since the porting department likely does not work weekends.

If Sprint has good coverage where you use the phone, Tello customer service and $ is excellent. Been with them for nearly three years since Ring Plus went belly up.
This seems like a great deal.
Currently I am on unlt'd talk and text and 1GB data for $10 per month. After 1GB 4G high speed data is done, it throttles down to 2G which is fast enough to browse the net and use Google Voice and Telegram Messenger if that is important for you.
