I would definitely buy from Ulta and this is a great deal so thumbs up to the OP.

Just a word of caution though, remember buying from Amazon is NOT the same as buying from Ulta. With Ulta you are buying from an authorized retailer wheras Amazon (or the random other sellers on Amazon) are not an authorized seller(s). Buying "salon only" products from the grocery store or from other non-authorized places may seem like a great deal until you realize the product maybe expired, contaminated or even a completely different thing that's just been filled into empty containers/bottles. Imagine thinking you were getting a great deal buying a brand name product like "Pepsi" but you are actually buying old Pepsi bottles that were refilled with store brand soda that you could have bought for a lot less than the "great deal" price you paid. Buying counterfeit or expired items isn't nearly as much of a deal for you as it is for the person that just conned you.

I did get a lot of down votes for posting this warning on another post about cheap salon products but I am just trying to educate people about the potential risks. Most salon products are not "sealed" containers and so the only way to make sure you are getting what you are paying for is to either compare to know guaranteed products you have purchased from a salon before or do a chemical analysis. That's why Paul Mitchell state this on their website: "Our products are guaranteed only when purchased in a professional Salon or Paul Mitchell® School or from one of our authorized retailers."

How do I know this? I have spent 10+ years in the salon and beauty industry as a franchise developer, salon owner and manager, hair and beauty product distributor and retailer.
As someone who has used it over 10 years, it's way better than the alternatives. I've tried the sally beauty brand and a few others. They might contain tee tree but they don't work as well. I have sensitive skin and scalp psoriasis and PM tea tree is the only one that keeps my scalp clear, doesn't make me itchy or flaky. I colored my hair and tried to use Shampoo and conditioner made for color treated hair and after a month i couldn't stand it and had to go back to using PM tea tree. Everyone who has tried it loves it. My mom and dad, and my aunts all switched. My husband travelled and came home saying next time you need to pack my our shampoo because it's the best.

It smells great, feels great, helps with scalp psoriasis, doesn't aggravate eczema. It's just so good I wouldn't recommend anything else. The knock offs just don't compare.
da faq!! if that article's true, than practically everything we use has cancer causing agents..we dyin faster than i thought and thats if u dont smoke/drink excessivelylaugh out loud

What makes this better than the other five million tea tree shampoos? Tea tree is quite the fad right now.

Not sure if it's changed since 2013 but this was my favorite shampoo before I found out it had cancer causing agents.

Don't forget to Add the pump for $1, it's so much easier with the pump!
This size normally includes its own pump, so save the $1.
