Thanks , just thought some people might find it helpful. Not everyone can afford what you can . Why read only 1 star reviews , read other reviews as well . Why be so negative . Anyways, hopefully some other people can find it helpful , if not you . Tc

Because I don't put lipstick on a pig.

"Bought a T-Fal fry pan a few years back and it lasted for a long time and many uses, however, the 12 inch pan warped on the first use and I have to return, buyers beware!"

"Upon opening pans and reading the description on the packaging I found the pans to be not as described. These were definitely a cheap version of T-fal and not as expected. I have had other T-Fal pans and were very pleased, but I just did not trust these to be what I was used to. Not as heavy and coating was the typical non-stick coating, again not the usual coating found on t-fal cookware. It stated they were PFOA free, but since the description on the packaging was wrong, I suspect this claim was wrong also. Have already returned to store."

I currently own 3 T-Fal pans... none of which are truly flat. Which makes frying anything nearly impossible as the oil runs to the sides of the pan instead of staying evenly flat.

Meh, most of the 1 stars are about how they were scratched and dented in shipping. You could easily compare the product number on T-Fal's site to see if they are indeed PFOA free. Also if it warps on the first use return the pans. For 12.99 you can certainly make bacon with that pig lipstick or not. Great for college kids.

They have different lines, this one sure does look thin. I have the professional, and I think one called titanium, those are good ones. I use them for eggs mostly.

Every item ever sold in any category by any manufacturer has some one star reviews. Probably from people like you. You can't please every one.

So I used to buy the calphalon unison line, but switched to tfal cause I couldn't convince my family to take good care of them. The tfal has been as good in every way except for putting them in the oven. Durable, effective non stick, and costs damn near nothing. I thought I'd have to get new ones 3 times a year. Year later they look as good as new. They are thin, but I don't pound steaks with them so it's been fine.

Any nonstick coated pan is going to scratch and burn quickly no matter what price you pay. I like buying a cheap 5-10 dollar nonstick every 6 months. I have a $400 pan I also use, but I like these cheap nonsticks for eggs and random uses.

This a good when they first start out, and still good about a year later of daily to weekly use, unless I overheat one by accident. For $13 it's perfect and I just get a new set every year or so.

How are these compared to Tools of the Trade? Same price but slightly smaller sizes (8, 9, 11)
