Edit: to clarify, great specs inly if you do get an i5 10-series G5 "free" upgrade. Additionally, 1080p, 2 ram slots and m.2 avail for upgrade makes it worth considering. If only an i3, not hot.
Perfect Linux machine for your parents or grandpa/grand ma.
In the other thread, it also posts "Some reports now of new shipments of i3's arriving in stores. YMMV..... Ehhhh and that was from November so it makes me believe these newer shipment laptops (after black friday and xmas sales) will come with the i3 10th gen processors as they originally stated.
For the price these are great for upgrading - 2 RAM slots and a legit M2 slot.

Also I read that if you order online now there's a chance getting i3 instead
I recall reading the pre-BF $280 Costco thread where somebody bought earlier and stated Costco would not do price adjustment because it's a BF pricing.

Never did anything specifically for laptop before. But I've done price adjusting several times at Costco for other stuff and they all turn out well (worst case scenario you just have to buy it again and return the old one)
Once you have touch screen you can't go back!
