Local Home Depot today near zip 60187 that has the 18v+ brushless trimmer with charger and 4AH battery for $99 on clearance. Thought this was a good price, so picked one up. Couple left on the shelf, and figured other locations may have it as well.

I have that trimmer. It's fantastic. Love the ability to change the speed.

I also have one and it's great. Plenty of power and decent runtime. If I'm efficient, I can weed eat my fence line and weed eat and edge the beds of my. 4 acre yard on one 4ah battery. Only thing that stinks is the bump feed, which I have issues getting to work correctly.

Don't get this if you don't have a 4ah battery or a very small yard. It chews through the smaller batteries pretty quick.

Still at $151 in central Florida, just shows 'Clearance' in brickseek. Which makes sense, since this is a seasonal item that we use year round

Not bad at all. I've been happily using this to trim our 1/4 acre lot for more than a year. A 6Ah battery will cover the front and back yards with one bar of charge left over; I don't think a 4Ah would do the job, so ideally you'd want to have an extra battery on hand.

This is a pretty decent trimmer for the price, but I do have issues with the bump-feeder which I've noticed wears down significantly after a season of use. Suggestions have been made by others to swap out the head for the Echo Speed Feed 400 head, which reportedly lasts much longer and has a lower tendency to jam. Even with this complaint, I'd buy it again (as someone invested in One+). I've used mine in concert with 6 4ah batteries and a 22" wheeled trimmer to handle nearly 3 acres.

For those who don't have the price locally, you can get the refurbished for same price:

18V not nearly enough power. Only for the smallest of yards, and even then will struggle to cut anything overgrown.

Said the guy who's never picked up this brushless trimmer 🙄
