It is a good deal. Good deals on high end cards are rare. I paid $350 for my EVGA 2070 and thought that was high, but it ended up being a good deal as 2070s never dropped much when the super cards came out. This card is tempting, but I will probably stick with what I have. It does well enough at 1440p. The 2070 Super is probably what will be needed for 1440/60 with the next gen games coming next year.
The 5700XT is a better value if you can get one for retail price, but the 2070 Super is going to be more powerful in most games. It comes down to how much you want to spend.
5700XT is usually best bang for buck. But make sure you don't need the features NVIDIA cards would offer like CUDA, ray tracing, etc. Media creators mostly stick to team green. Only downsides to the 5700 cards is they run hot and the drivers have been quite problematic for many people.

I'd agree although I don't know how optimized/reliable AMD's drivers are these days...
I currently have the 2070 XC Ultra (non-super) and am able to run most games maxed out at 3440x1440P. Modern Warfare runs on ultra between 80-100ish FPS.
I think this is a good deal, but I personally don't care for mail-in rebates.
Also, keep in mind the Black Edition does not have the same beefy cooler that the ULTRA version has, so it may run a bit hotter. The ULTRA is usually between 60-65C on load.
